The Arc of Washington County will host the second annual community-wide family information forum at Cherokee United Methodist Church in Johnson City on Tuesday, November 10th between the hours of 5:00pm-8:00pm.
Our purpose in hosting this event is to strengthen bonds, share information, gain knowledge and improve communication between the families we serve and our community. We feel hosting such an event will assist families in gaining access to the most up to date information on products and services available. We are partnering with local agencies and businesses alike to provide an informative event. This year’s featured speaker will be John Craven, East Regional Director for the Division of Intellectual Disabilities Services. Also in attendance will be State Representative Matthew Hill of Tennessee. In addition, area providers and local businesses will be on-hand to display their products and/or services.
This is an event open to everyone with the mission of sharing information and creating partnerships that support those with disabilities and their families.
